Donated hardware enters a closed research perimeter. There is no public cloud anywhere in the research loop, no third-party analytics on the cluster, and no route by which your former asset can become someone else's data-recovery story.

If your asset-disposal policy requires documentation, you get more of it from us than from a broker: every device is sanitised, certified and logged before it is racked.

Enterprise hardware is usually retired on a refresh cycle, not on failure. The moment it leaves your rack it is still years from the end of its useful life — and the emissions already embodied in its manufacture are already spent. Where it goes next decides whether that spend produced three years of value or seven.

Routing it to a longevity laboratory turns a disposal line item into a reportable outcome: extended asset life, avoided replacement manufacturing, and a named research use with documented utilisation.

Hours in service, workload class, and which research track each donated asset supported. Donated capacity that sat idle is not an impact claim, so we report the real number.
